I know it wasn't that soon after...maybe a month or two? I'm not a huge drinker and I was such a lightweight after not drinking for so long that I was irrationally paranoid about getting wasted after 1 drink and not being able to nurse my LO. And every night that first week, haha.</p> <p>@Mrs. Jump Rope: You would want to pump and dump if you drank so much that you can feel it - then it's potentially not safe to nurse. And some people just don't feel comfortable drinking and nursing in general, so they do it. I don't know. The only difference I could think of between a glass of wine and a margarita would be how much alcohol is in it, which would of course depend on the size of the margarita or the glass of wine.
