Some days are harder than others, but I think I found my stride very early. When my second was born, I realized I did know what to do and it was more instinctive and so much easier than when I was a first time parent. I think it really provided some confidence with parenting my toddler, too. I remember the week my husband went back to work after #2 was born - he texted me at the end of the week and said he was shocked he hadn't heard from me in the middle of a meltdown.
