He enjoys sitting on it and will pee or poop by accident on it. He does know when he has to go, he just tells me as he's going. When he moves to the 2s they teach potty training. This morning she asked to use it for the first time and actually went! I bring her in the bathroom and she is interested in the wall, the heater, the rug, the floor..</p> <p>I am waiting awhile longer until she shows signs of being ready. We would put her on the potty at bathtime, etc. Pretty soon she was asking to go on the potty although not really "go". I'm trying to remember but not long after she pee'd in the potty for the first time. She has since pee'd a ton at daycare but not so much at home. I think it helps that a lot of hte kids in her room are already potty trained.
