They both said no. They rarely play with it, and it mostly gets played with by other kids who come over for birthday parties. We've had it for 6 years, and I will be sad to see it go. So in my house I'd switch it out for something big (probably the two ride on toys that are in the basement to make space for the Christmas tree). If they never asked for it back in a year I'd talk to them about getting rid of it. Or just quietly make it disappear. I was going to get rid of it when i had the idea to save it and bring it outside in the spring, and it got another season of use, surprisingly. Apparently that did the trick. I WOH so they don't have too much to kill inside the house. The kitchen is in our kitchen/dining area. After Christmas I realized I haven't seen them play with it for a month or so. Longer for my older one. They both prefer to help in the real kitchen. I'm tired of straightening it up and the junk we end of stacking on top. Is it time for it to go or is this just a lull in use?</p> <p>Any tips on getting rid of big things that the kids will obviously notice? </p>
