When he started complaining after a few ozs of purées but was scarfing down puffs and halved blueberries I started switching over. Now at 9.5 months he has finger foods for breakfast and dinner. She did an awesome job with chewing them, so we kept giving her more. The only times she has had issues was when she learned to eat from her fist (vs. fingers) and was eating too quickly.
