He's still in a crib now but we are expecting again so we're making the switch to a big boy bed in the next few months. We got the flattest pillow we could find at Ikea that also ended up being cheap. We didn't go with a toddler pillow. She too suffers from reflux, it's been a lifesaver. But her ped said try to hold off a little longer before giving her an actual pillow to sleep with. Thing is, she seems to be having bad reflux symptoms again, and the past few nights, she sleeps best in the early morning when we bring her to our bed and she sleeps with her head on one of our pillows. </p> <p>Just wondering at what age you felt a small pillow was ok in the crib. she's too old to try raising a portion of the crib or anything like that. </p>
