He only became successful in getting the food in his mouth at around 13 months. She doesn't really seem to have the coordination yet. He wasn't very good at it (so messy!) but we let him practice anyway. Now he's almost 2 and he's really good at feeding himself with a spoon with all kinds of foods, except soup or anything liquidy.
