Slight wrinkle is that I will be about 38 weeks' pregnant. She was walking well and we went with a bunch of other toddlers. We pushed her in a car buggy and she would walk up to the actual doors. It was sooo fun!</p> <p>DS's first time was at about 7 months. He was dressed up and sat in the stroller but didn't actually ToT. We went up to the houses but did not ask for candy for him. It was just for fun since big sis &amp; friends were ToTing. We just took her around to the 10 houses or so on our street, then took her home and put her to bed. Then we sat out in the street with some of our neighbors and drank wine and passed out candy to kids. He fell asleep 3 houses in, but we were with a group of friends so we trudged on.</p> <p>Last year, he was 15 months (we were the Barneys from the Flintstones). He pushed him in a little car, and he just sat there while we did the work for him.</p> <p>This year, he's walking and talking so I'm hoping he'll understand the concept of Trick-or-Treat! Smart kid! </p> <p>I think if we lived in more of a quiet neighborhood we would go to our neighbors houses, but we are in the city so it's not the same. Last year we went to the Halloween event on our Main Street and walked around, but she was still too small to get it at all and I didn't want to walk up to stores with the stroller and ask for candy (for me!). </p> <p>Now she is a little over 2 and walking and talking so I think she might have fun but it might also be overwhelming. I don't think we'd go door to door but probably just do the afternoon even on Main Street again. Then steal any candy she gets anyway. :)</p> <p>We also go to pre Halloween parties and stuff so she can wear her costume. </p>
