She hasn't tried to climb out yet so I don't see a reason to move her yet. LO is 9 months old and has been sleeping in a PnP since she was born (we move a lot so we hadn't wanted to purchase a proper cot until absolutely necessary). She sleeps brilliantly in the PnP and we're in no hurry to move her out of it, but I know she's going to outgrow it at some stage. Our upcoming move will also have us settling for the next 1.5 - 2 years so I feel more comfortable buying a big item now as we'll get our money's worth. </p> <p>We're trying to decide between a 3-in-1/4-in-1 cot or a toddler bed on its own. It's about a $200 price difference between the two, with the toddler bed being the cheaper option, but I'm wondering if the PnP would last long enough to get us to a toddler bed. The one we're looking at is only 36 cm high (about 14 inches I think) but I don't know what age is the appropriate age to move a baby out of their cot.</p> <p>Thoughts? Experiences? </p>
