She is on the small side, too (she was 17lbs 9oz at her appointment 2 weeks ago at 9.5 months). Honestly though, I've never had good luck with diapers containing everything...we've tried different sizes, different brands, and Pampers Cruisers seem to do the best job, but we still have leaks. We are still in 2's at around 13 pounds.</p> <p>I use pampers swaddles and have never had a real leak, sometimes just a touch. The tabs overlap. It might have to do with shape too though, because she's long, 25.5 in, so her belly isn't very big. She definitely has blowouts occasionally in sposies but I think it has to do with position. If she has a big poop while she's on her tummy, it pretty much always comes out the front. I'm sure you do, but do you adjust the inner elasticky bit? Sadie is 4.5 months &amp; somewhere between 14-15 pounds, and is fitting perfectly in her 2's. The tabs are still touching for her too, so I know they fit. Someone gifted us a pack of Huggies &amp; she had a crazy random poopsplosion at a restaurant a couple weeks ago! So, we don't use Huggies anymore (they worked fine when she was in N's and 1's!). We have had a lot of success with Target brand. She was weighed at the doctor today whe we went for her cold. She only weighs 12.7lbs at almost 4 months. But she is having more poop explosions and tonight had another diaper leak. Which stinks cause we are getti g such little sleep and I think it woke her up.</p> <p>We need to buy more diapers this weekend. But are size 3 going to swallow her?? Size 2 tabs still touch each other in the middle. </p>
