She sleeps the majority of the night in her crib (usually till 5-6) and then co-beds with us the rest of the early hours. I wasn't ready to night wean until P wouldn't "need" breastmilk anymore to ensure I didn't jeopardize my supply AND I'm a firm believer that through infancy night wakings &amp; closeness to ones parents is important. LO has been in his own room the past two nights and it's going really well. He's sleeping a little less soundly - 5 hours in a row instead of 6. But I think it's worth it. The same night we moved him, he started cooing when he woke up instead of just crying. And so far, its been awesome!! He's not sleeping in his crib yet - we moved the arms reach co-sleeper and he's still sleeping in there, but we've all gotten much better sleep these last two nights. We've been thinking about moving her to her crib in the nursery, but we're moving in a few weeks so I've been putting off the transition figuring maybe it would be smoother all at once. We've gotten as far as moving his rock n play to his room and putting him in his crib after night feedings. He has been struggling the past few nights with falling asleep in there for his first stretch of the night but he's drowsy enough after night feedings that he doesn't protest. At 4 months we moved them from their Rock N Plays to their cribs. But also because if she woke up during the night she would be less likely to go back to sleep on her own if she could see/smell me right next to her. Plus... Was fairly easy on all of us, and worked out pretty well!</p> <p>She was quickly getting too long for her bassinette, knowing we'd have to switch her into something else we just went right to crib to save a step in the middle. </p>
