I made a list on my phone based on what other people have said they packed. As I buy things or find them around the house I try to add them to the bag and cross them off the list. Oops. We kind of had a list. so we weren't totally starting from scratch, but we definitely got to the hospital looking like we were moving in for a week, and did a lot of "wtf is this and why did we bring it?" once we started opening up the bags.<br /> I was totally convinced that I was going to have to be induced at 42 weeks like every other woman in my family, but I went ten days early.
