Day was quick but it took a few months until he was consistently dry at night. I delayed it because I've heard that boys train later and I trained my daughter at 27 months. But it turned out that my son was much easier to train and caught on a lot faster. Our daycare encouraged it earlier than we initially anticipated. It's been okay so far. He still likes to say "all fine" and "no" when it comes to the potty time.
