I just stopped a few weeks ago - DS is 9 months. We continue to BF when I get home from work, before bed, once in the middle of the night and once before I leave in the morning and since he pretty much refuses to drink anything during the day, I believe this would be 'reverse cycling'. And this is fine by me, he'll only be a baby once and with me working full time, this is our time together now. I plan on continuing until a year and then trying to drop that middle of the night feeding. I will continue with the before bed and in the morning until he self-weans.

Stopped at around 13 months. It was the best thing ever. He had reverse cycled and we used splash at daycare. I have a reasonably flexible schedule so I can go nurse if necessary.

I stopped right at 1 year. I still BF her mornings, nights, and right when I get home from work (14 months). That home from work session is new. She recently started slapping my chest and whimpering when I come home from work because she wants it. Maybe for cuddles? dont know

Stopped pumping at 13 months, still bf 1-2 x a day at 17.5 months. Good luck- so hard to figure out how to transition! I dropped pumping sessions and nursing sessions suuuuuuper slowly and that seemed to work.

DD is almost 8 months and I'm trying to stop. It's going much slower than I anticipated because I'm getting clogged ducts almost every day. I really want to be finished by the time we leave for vacation in November.

I stopped by 13 months. It was much harder than I thought it would be. Nursing morning and night has gone pretty well but we are giving her a bottle of formula at bed time to make sure she has enough in her belly to make it through the night.

Olive is almost 1, and I want to start transitioning her to milk (hemp milk, cow's milk? don't know!). She's been taking less breastmilk in her bottles lately since she's eating more solids.

I'm definitely going to continue nursing, but I'm still pumping 3-4 times a day right now. I'd love to pump once, twice at the most, but don't want my supply to take the inevitable hit. I'm not sure when I should cut back.

When did you quit pumping? And did you continue breastfeeding for long after that?
