We continue to BF when I get home from work, before bed, once in the middle of the night and once before I leave in the morning and since he pretty much refuses to drink anything during the day, I believe this would be 'reverse cycling'. And this is fine by me, he'll only be a baby once and with me working full time, this is our time together now. I plan on continuing until a year and then trying to drop that middle of the night feeding. It was the best thing ever. He had reverse cycled and we used splash at daycare. She recently started slapping my chest and whimpering when I come home from work because she wants it. Good luck- so hard to figure out how to transition! It was much harder than I thought it would be. She's been taking less breastmilk in her bottles lately since she's eating more solids.</p> <p>I'm definitely going to continue nursing, but I'm still pumping 3-4 times a day right now. I'd love to pump once, twice at the most, but don't want my supply to take the inevitable hit. I'm not sure when I should cut back.</p> <p>When did you quit pumping? And did you continue breastfeeding for long after that? </p>
