At some point this year I'll probably start limiting his adventures out of the house but I would let her keep him in her bed as long as she wants. She actually has a different animal for preschool naps. He lives at school and only comes home to be washed.</p> <p>I slept with "Bubbles" the teddy bear until I was like 9 and had him until I did a major purge of our basement last year at age 31! They both adore their Angel Dear loveys. DS #1 takes one to school everyday and on the weekends, he brings all of them downstairs. He found the duplicates and now sleeps with three bunnies at night. DS #2 loves his. He's not into pacifiers, so he bites and holds his lovey. He doesn't take it out of the house though. If it isn't a problem, I would just let her keep doing it. Right now our almost 4 year old takes it to daycare with her, but is only supposed to use it at naps and bedtime. When she's upset she does ask for it. I think its abotu time to start retiring the blanket, but DH thinks it's not a big deal. When did you/do you plan to retire the lovey? </p>
