Right now we are surrounded by boxes and I'm overwhelmed looking at it all, so I think that adds to the panic. We do have the PnP set up in our room. I think today I'll pick up some of the clutter in the living room and start setting up our swing and bouncy chair. The bouncy chair didn't need much setting up, but was ready to go right away. I didn't set up my pump before DD arrived b/c I didn't think I would need it right away. We used the stroller, bouncy seat and swing as soon as we came home from the hospital.</p> <p>ETA- by late in my pregnancy, I had mommy brain super bad, so my husband got the more complicated things to put together (Usually that is my talent, but with the swing, I just could not wrap my brain around that one, I would read an instruction, then forget it and go back, and forget it again....etc). You won't want to worry about setting it up and adjusting to life with a newborn. As in I was in the hospital, no cribs/cradles/bassinets - nothing was set up. The first time was because they decided to rip up the carpet in the master bedroom of our old house <i>the day after I gave birth</i>. DS and I weren't even in our own house for the first two weeks of his life, we were at my parent's house. The carpet they were tearing up? Well, the subflooring was no good. Then the posts or whatever that hold up the subflooring was no good... one thing after another, they literally had to demo the whole room and build it back up from the braces! It was insanity. I was <i>freaking</i> out the entire time because I was 30 minutes away and as soon as hubs got off work he went straight to work on that room so he could get DS and I home.</p> <p>With DD we had just closed on our current house days before she was born. She was born late late Sunday and we were released late Tuesday.
