My first night away was when M was 10 days old and I was in the hospital with what turned out to be mastitis. However, I haven't willing spent a night away from him yet and he turns 17m this week! We're still bfing and I really like to put him to bed and be with him when he wakes up - I don't pump anymore so it's just easier. I get to spend the night by myself often though - don't tell my husband but being alone all week has been the best mother's day gift.
