We took a few weeks off, then started him on sweet potatoes just after 5 months, and he did great. </p> <p>Go with your gut! He ate it a little bit more and then I was like screw it. It was a pain and he loved the boob more. And I don't think she is quite ready. But I guess she has technically met all the "milestones" required for cereal feeding. And DH wants to start ASAP. I thought AAP said 6 months, but everything I'm finding online says "4-6 months to start". </p> <p>Any advice? I'm really torn about this decision. She is 4 months and 5 days old right now. She eats 30-35 oz a day (combo of breastmilk and formula). She's 15 lbs, 13 oz. </p>
