It's possible they happened before but this time it lasted a good minute and was just so rhythmic. I'll have periods of movement that feel like they might, in fact, be hiccups, since each little "thump-thump" seems to be on a timed schedule. My midwife was explaining that LO was head down and asking what I was feeling and where, and she explained that the rhythmic tapping I felt down low was hiccups. I was feeling them around 30 weeks. LO would get them at least 5 times a day and almost always right before bed. It was really awesome at first, but then got to be a bit frustrating as they would last quite a while.
