He was used to a bottle of pumped milk before bed but my supply was sipping so I started mixing the bottle with WCM and then by 12 months it was totally WCM in the bottle. So at that point we moved totally to straw cups except for a 2oz morning snack bottle while we fixed breakfast and did toddler formula. He did great with this method. I had previously tried wcm alone, but he wouldn't take it. When I mixed it in slowly, increasing the amount every few days, he did great! Then, I got pregnant that cycle and started drying up and LO became less interested in nursing. I wanted to see how it went before I was out of frozen breast milk. Once that was gone, he switch to WCM. I want to say we mixed it with formula or breastmilk at first. Over the next month, I ran out of frozen milk and I wasn't pumping enough, so I had no choice but to put her on formula. At 13 months, she was sick, and I handed her a cup of straight cow's milk. R is 11 months and EBF - but I'm trying to ditch some feedings and offer sippy instead at meals. I have some frozen breastmilk but not that much and have tried giving him WCM in a sippy and he doesn't seem to like it much. I'd rather not introduce formula now (not because I'm opposed, but because of just introducing something totally new when he *should* move to WCM in a month anyways). </p>
