Ellie had 3 friends come to her 3rd birthday. Lorelei will likely have one friend and his infant sister (she loves both of them). I'm really low-key for that sort of stuff anyhow. We always have a budget of under $100 and don't do much decorating stuff. I make the cake, and we usually do some sort of messy or fun craft as a party favor.
