I wear my LO when I go shopping because the dang car seat with him in it is sooo heavy. Our LO's are close in age and I wouldn't feel comfortable putting DS in the shopping cart yet. He would probably fall to one side. I have put her in it once and she did fine. C is almost done in her infant car seat, but definitely not sitting up well enough (or on her own at all) to go in the front of the grocery cart. I guess I will have to put her in carrier for the in between time we switch car seats until she is ready for the seat in the cart.</p> <p>Our high chair is one that goes on the seat of a regular chair, and has a to go strap so when and if we ever got to a restaurant we would sit her in that no problem, like we do at home. Do you baby-wear? The carrier part of it is what we usually keep him in when we go shopping (in the grocery cart) or when we go out to eat. Since we won't be using that anymore I'm thinking that it's about time to transition to putting him into the front part of the shopping cart and into the high chairs at restaurants.</p> <p>I'm not sure how he'll like it. He is loving sitting up (still with our assistance) so maybe he is ready? He's 4.5 months old. </p>
