She recommended a practice but when I called they told me they aren't accepting new patients right now. I was looking for a family doctor though and after checking her out on ratemds.com I went in and had an overview appointment and was done with it. They all told you about their practice and you could ask questions. I narrowed it down to 2 that we liked. I told my mom who and she said that her cleaning lady cleans one of the doctors houses and said that her son is on drugs, which made me not want to use her anymore, so we just had the one. I didn't have any recommendations because my friends who have children live in different boroughs/neighborhoods far from me. </p> <p>We had 2 we were going to see, but after an orientation with the first pediatrician, we chose her. So she gave us their recommended list and marked those that they like to work with the most. We did those visits at 36 weeks and selected the one we preferred.
