We reuse a milk and sippy cup all day. I've never seen any food floaters.

We use the same water sippy all day. I rinse and refill when I notice food floating in it or before meals.

So far at 13 mos, maybe to the next feeding, but usually not. I find that these cups don't keep food back. Especially the straws. Kinda gross.

I think around 12 months we would just refill the same sippy throughout the day. I have one for water and one for milk

ETA: I must be wrong bc we didn't start milk until 12 months...so maybe it was around 13-14 months

@runsyellowlites: we use the playtex sippy cups (with the two handles) and when she shakes it it def leaks..so I'm stumped. I let her sip from my cup with a straw the other day and she just spit into it. HAHA! so I'm not sure what to do!

@mediagirl: I remember doing it with my nanny LOs, but can't for the life of me remember when it started. I only give her water or 1:4 water:prune juice in the sippy right now, so I wonder if that'd be okay to save?

Always. :) If there is water left in it, I put it back in the fridge. I haven't started with milk yet but when we do, I think I will save the milk, it's expensive! And it doesn't spoil like bm or formula.

Since I haven't noticed any leaking with P's cup I figure not much gets "in" the other way either so I'll just reuse it through the day... she only gets water in it though so I think that makes me feel more lax about it too.

does that even make sense?

I offer LO a sippy with every snack/meal, and wash it after - she gets a new cup, new juice/water next time.

When did you start just popping it into the fridge if they didn't finish it?

I know with bottles of bm/formula, you aren't supposed to reuse after a small window, same with double-dipped baby food. When does this end?

ETA - She is 7.5 months!
