When we do say NO we act on it quickly to get her to stop. It's usually like stair climbing, outlet touching, knife wielding - actual dangerous things (she grabbed a knife out of the dishwasher once when I hadn't placed it far enough back). Shes pulling drawers in the kitchen, finding her way to outlets (with covers) and cords. She also likes to lick the dining room chairs :s. We are struggling during diaper changes with her arching her back so shes almost falling off, flipping to her belly and throwing a fit. oh and shes pulling hair and hitting our faces...yikes LO is almost 8 months and I hate saying the word no to her because she is so little. We try to say nice touch and rub her hand on our face after she has hits us.. I know that most of this is just learning and exploring but I don't want it to turn into something that gets out of control when she understands that its wrong.</p> <p>When did you start using the word..
