She didn't like it so I waited a month and tried at 5.5 months. At 11 months she still doesn't LOVE solids, but I feed her 3 meals a day. I give her regular table food too! Some days she eats like a champ. We didn't OFFICIALLY start until the day after her 6-month appointment but for the two weeks leading up to it, I would give her a finger with smooshed banana on it, or a bit of avocado. He didn't officially start solids until he was 8.5 months old and it's been a long hard road in doing so.
