You can add a marble to aid in the process...same way you would make homemade butter from milk. </p> <p>For the ice cream I let DS help and we did the ziplock bag method. I put breastmilk in one ziplock bag and then ice and ice cream salt in a larger back with the breastmilk bag inside and we shook it until it made ice cream. Super simple. We also purchased one of those ice cream balls you can use to make ice cream while camping specifically for making DS breastmilk ice cream which is also easy but not necessary.</p> <p>Here is a link from Kelly Mom for some other pretty awesome breastmilk recipes like yogurt and cheese (this one needs other animal proteins I'm pretty sure). Like Runsyellowlites it was pretty sporadic. The smelly gas and the non pooping for days freaked me out so we've gone back to an all breast milk diet. Her doctor joked that she can't be on breast milk forever. Oh wellz. I want to give her a breastmilk popsicle in a mesh feeder, and I've let her gum on a few fruit skins here and there (orange peel and a slice of apple).</p> <p>I bet it will be exciting for a baby to start eating real food. After putting a bunch of tasteless items in her mouth for weeks, I assume it is going to be awesome to have something go into her mouth that tastes good!! </p>
