We both were swim teachers for kids when we were in high school so would teach her a few things and each year we've focused on it a bit more. she learned to swim at 3 and now at 4 is a little fish. He thought it was ok. Then the instructor had a death in the family and quit teaching. He's gone a few times with DH (who used to teach swim lessons). He kind of hates the water (now he's 2.75). He's starting rescue swim lessons in September (ISR). Started lessons at a swim school at almost 3, and she's much more able to actually swim, and I feel more comfortable with her in the water.
