In addition to sorting out the unpacking (which has been a long and painstaking process), we needed to think about the nursery which has taken more time than I had originally thought it would. At 34 weeks, we are nowhere close to being "done." We have our crib (no mattress yet), our dresser/changer/ and a few baby items, but that's about it! We started ours around 18 weeks and finished at 26. Well, it's 95% done anyway, we just need the crib mattress and baby necessities that are on our registry. When I get my mind on something I have to finish it asap or else it drives me nuts and stresses me out! We then started looking at furniture and just ordered the crib and glider last week at 23 weeks. It could take up to 10 weeks to get those items in, so I felt like I needed to proceed with those. I also started painting last week because we are putting up board and batten and that may take a couple weeks. I'm due January 13 so the family is coming to our house for Christmas- my goal is to have the nursery completed by Thansgiving so I can focus on Christmas!
