And we just used it as a beverage. I had been putting formula in his sippy cup with dinner and I switched it out for milk. He's always eaten a lot of cheese and yogurt so it didn't really matter to me if he got that much from the sippy. </p> <p>You don't really "switch" from BM or formula to WCM. You slowly transition from feeding those as meals to feeding solids for meals. By 10 months they were on 100% whole milk. He didn't mind the taste at all, but he had some stomach issues with it so we waited to try again at 13 months and he did fine. I have never heard of giving it at 9 months!
