So interesting to see the different responses! For the past week and a half I have felt some little bubbles and flutters and had one strong feeling of what I think was movement this weekend. It's so hard to tell though! I'm just over 17 weeks.

I started feeling inklings of movement around week 19, but it was very subtle. I had to sit very still and couldn't feel it if I was moving around. Around week 23-24 was when I could feel the baby during the day, to a point where I would stop what I am doing to see if it really was! Now, at week 32, the baby is squirming all day long and I don't really get a break - but I love it!

I've been regularly feeling the baby move since about week 16 but only while sitting still. The middle of last week (week 19), I'v been able to feel her periodically while doing stuff around the house. I don't notice it nearly as much as when I'm just sitting still though.

I started feeling the baby consistently towards the end of week 19, I had been feeling slight flutters from week 17 but by the end of week 19 it was definitely kicks and jabs

I didn't feel the kicks until 22 weeks. I was a little concerned but my doctor told me that my placenta was right in front of the baby, so it made sense why it was taking longer than usual.

I'm glad you asked this! I'm 20 weeks now and I feel the baby move, but it is so inconsistent. I saw my doctor yesterday and she told me that was totally normal, but didn't mention anything about when I would feel her more consistently.

I actually didnt know i was pregnant with my son until i was 20 weeks due to PCOS. Well I started feeling him move around 24 weeks a lot. It varies for women though. If you dont feel the baby move at all though get to the doctor right away. I had a few scares where my son didnt move and it turned out the doctor said he was just being lazy that day. haha

I started feeling movement about 16 weeks but very inconsistently. I was also probably not sure
What I was feeling. Between 18-20 weeks it became much more apparent that is was DD moving. But everyone is different.

I started feeling more consistent movement around 19 weeks when I was just sitting at my desk or driving, but there were definitely days with nothing at all. I also have anterior placenta so hubs hasn't been able to feel anything yet. This weekend (22 weeks) I started noticing movement from the outside either with my hand or noticing a light book on my belly moving. Hubs is never close by to feel it in time though.

I started feeling her at 17 weeks bit ot with any consistency-- a few days of activity and one day of nothing. At 25/26 weeks i started feeling her everyday, throughout the wholeday. Don't worry, it's different for everyone!

Not till quite late in the second trimester for me. I had an anterior placenta, which muffled a lot of the movement from me feeling it. Toward the end though I felt him moving and kicking very strongly!

I'm about to be 20 weeks and can still only rarely feel the baby move. My midwife says it's normal, but so many places online talk about feeling the baby move regularly by this point. I can sometimes feel the baby if I really focus when I'm lying in bed at night, but I never feel him/her when I'm doing other things or not specifically paying attention.
So, I'm not asking when you first felt the baby move, but when did you begin to consistently feel the baby without focusing on it?
