Even as a newborn she never would burp at night. She still spits up during the day, not as much as a month ago but never in the middle if the night. I just give him a few pats on the back and if he burps, great, if he doesn't, I figure he didn't need to! And I rarely burp him after his night feed because I don't want to wake him up! (And then he was sleeping through the night around 2 months-- ah those were the days...) She is 8.5 months and I would say I stopped (unintentionally really) around 6 months maybe?<br /> Burping her stopped being effective and she seemed to burp better on her own while sitting up a few minutes after eating.
