We went straight to hard sole shoes and they've been great. It did take some time for DS to get used to walking in them. I don't think soft soled shoes (like Robeez) give much support, especially when LOs walk around outside, at the park, etc... They are more expensive than Walmart shoes but I don't regret it. We get them on sale and at outlet stores. She's growing out of her shoes and I'm wondering if I can go ahead and buy some hard soles.... since she has such big feet and she's a late walker it get expensive finding big sizes in soft soles. She literally just started really walking by herself last week. </p>
