He was still doing a lot of spitting up so we kept it going for a while. We have tried to stop a couple of times and he CLEARLY still needed it. My twins were on meds originally from 3 weeks to 7 months. We put them back on the meds around 9 months and didn't seen an improvement. We saw the pediatric GI and he put them on a new medicine around 10.5 months. They continued on that medicine until 15 months when we tried without it. They went about 6 weeks without when we put them back on the meds. They are still on the meds at 21 months. We've gone back and forth on trying them off the meds again. Their primary symptoms as older babies and toddlers has been terrible sleep, writhing and screaming all night long. Part of us wonders if some of that is just bad sleeping and not totally related to reflux.
