She will bang on the pantry door when she wants one. I do give her pouches from time to time when we travel, as a snack, or if she's uninterested in the table foods.<br /> She's still messy, but fairly efficient, probably because she's been practicing for awhile. Of course as soon as I stocked up she decided she was over them. She just turned a year and I sneak them in wherever I can just to use them up. She still has pouches sometimes but not often. What we do right now is give her a bunch of whole foods and then top her up with purees. But lately she has been batting our hands away and grabbing the spoon and trying to do it herself. She's getting less interested, I think. I only buy about a week's worth of purees at a time. She loves yogurt, though!</p> <p>When did your LO stop eating purees? She's approaching 11 months and I think it's about time maybe?...But i don't think she's 100% gotten that real food fills her tummy yet. She's still pretty sloppy </p>
