Jack Jack is a year and starting to bust out of her smaller ones, but we want to keep her in the sleep sack as long as possible!

just over 2 years with charlie when he figured out how to climb out of his crib wearing the sleep sack. it definitely kept him in his crib much longer. charlie still kicks off blankets at 3, so i would keep them in sleep sacks as long as possible.

We're planning to keep using them as long as they fit. But A has almost outgrown the Medium at 9 months, so we might be at a footie-jammie only stage soon.

Oh good! I was wondering if it was no longer safe to use sleep sacks once baby is pulling up in the crib, but it sounds like we're good to go. I love sleep sacks... although I am also looking forward to trying out blankets after she hits 1 year old. She loves snuggling under a blanket on her nap time (while we can keep an eye on her), and it gets so cold in her room that I'm sure she would love blankets overnight.

LO is still in them at 19 months. I also think they help discourage crib-climbing -- he's never tried.

Lo is also 18 months old and in a sleepsack. Its the kind that has the feet wholes but we put her feet inside of it to keep them warm.

DS will be 18 months old in a couple of weeks and we still use a and sleepsack. He can pull up and stand in his crib with it on but he doesn't try to climb out of the crib. I think the sleepsack is the only reason he doesn't try to escape. We're planning on using them as long as he's in a crib.

DD is 10.5 months old and pulling up on everything. She has even figured out how to stand up in bed with her sleep sack. I'm wondering when it will be time to give up the sleep sack and switch to blankets. Those who used sleep sacks, when did you stop using them, and what did you do in their place once you got rid of them. Did you switch straight to regular blankets?
