My two kids are 3 years apart and we only have a single stroller. My older LO used the stroller ride on board from age 3-5. I told him when he turned 5 he couldn't ride it anymore because it was getting too hard to push almost 100lbs of kids+stroller+stuff. He has been fine walking everywhere since he turned 5 a few months ago.
