Apparently a bit can also be absorbed transdermally but the primary risk is drinking the bathwater or putting wet hands in mouth during bath. </p> <p>We just got a lead testing kit from the hardware store (it came with several little "sticks" and we tested paint and the tub). Apparently most counties will also send someone to test for you if you have kids and are concerned.</p> <p>Good luck!
