Some nights she'd go 4-7 hours of sleep, then others were every 1.5 - 3. I think it depends on how much she eats/sleeps during the day. My thoughts are if she's hungry enough, she'll wake up and eat. So far no problems with that theory, she's gaining weight well and developing normally. We used to wake her up for feedings every 3 hours, but in the past week or so we've just let her sleep. She can go up to 3 1/2 hours in the day, and 4 hours at night. She's been putting on weight very well, and when we wake her up to feed she's too sleepy anyway.</p> <p>Do you let your newborn sleep as long as they want, or do you wake them up for feedings? </p>
