The first trimester! I ended up getting resized after giving birth. Good thing the resize (first one) was free.

I wore them the entire time, but luckily I took them off before heading off to the hospital when I was in labor. The IV really makes you swell up, so I had seriously fat fingers for at least a few days after giving birth.

Today was my last day of wearing them, unless I can still get them on after the summer, but doubtful. I am able to get them on in the morning, but have difficulty getting them off in the evening. Clipping them if they won't come off is not an option with my eternity band. Hubby would flip! I am 28 weeks.

Mine have been off for about 3 weeks, so since about 25 weeks or so. I also never sleep in any jewelry and some nights they were very uncomfortable - my set is quite wide when worn together though. Before that I was trying one ring or the other because the 2 together hadn't been comfortable since closer to 20-22 weeks for me.

I'm so happy that I have a nice ring that I usually wear on my middle finger of my right hand (an aquamarine) that I've been wearing on my ring finger. It's totally big enough even for some extreme swelling and I've even had compliments on it!

Is anyone else nervous having their rings not on? I hate not having mine right there to check on. I'm actually thinking about getting a safety deposit box because with the weight I've gained I don't imagine I'll be back in them for at least a month if not more after baby comes.

I stopped at 33 weeks because a nurse scared me by telling me her story of how she *suddenly* swelled up and had to get her rings cut off.

I wore them on a necklace from 33 weeks to 38 weeks when I delivered and I actually really liked that.

It was probably about 25 weeks or so. You are in the DFW area, if I recall, which is where I am as well. Last summer's heat did me in for the water retention during pregnancy.

I got a sterling silver band from WalMart of all places. I think we spent $20 on it and it was so scratched up by the end of my pregnancy.

I am 19 weeks tomorrow, and I have had trouble getting my wedding band (its .5 smaller than engagement ring) on a couple of morning. If I wait a little while then it will go on normally. I hope this isn't any indication of what is to come.

I'm expecting that I can wear my engagement ring the whole pregnancy but not the wedding band, which is better than nothing so I'm okay with that.

i'm 24 weeks and they are snug when it is really hot out and i'm walking around. my fingers end up looking like sausages! but, i try to avoid going out in hot weather and if i do, i take my rings off. most of the work day, i'm in a/c that is set at 68 so my rings are still actually quite loose because my fingers shrink.

At 22 weeks, they still fit without issues, even in crazy hot weather. I've always wanted a cheap artsy band (sterling silver or something) that I can wear when there's the potential to damage my expensive stuff, so maybe I'll finally end up with one of those when these stop fitting.

I took mine off at 26 weeks. I had a friend that had to have hers sawed off and the heat from the saw on metal burned her finger and it's scarred. That scared me enough to take them off once I had a little swelling!

@MamaMoose: My sister's was actually after she gave birth, she wanted to wear her rings on her first date night without her daughter and put them on when her DH wasn't looking. By the time they arrived at my parent's hosue to drop off my niece, they had to call the hospital and get advice, her finger was turning blue. She was devestated and so sad.

I wore mine up until the last month of pregnancy. Then i could only wear my wedding band...it was just too much with two rings.

Don't be disappointed if you can't get your rings back on right away. It took 8 weeks before all the swelling finally went down.

I'm still wearing mine at 37 weeks but days when I spend a lot of time outside they are definitely snug and I can't wait to take them off. I don't wear them at night or to the gym anymore which helps too I think.

I don't remember exactly, but probably somewhere around 30-32 weeks? My fingers had started swelling up with the head justenough that it was taking me over an hour to get my wedding band off and I really didn't want to have to have it cut. After I finally got it off I started wearing it on a chain around my neck...which turned out to be the right move since my fingers have resembled sausages pretty much ever since.

My rings are always a little snug in the summer, so I assumed that my rings would be off sooner than later. I'm at 28 weeks now and my rings are totally fine. My fingers haven't been swelling even with the excessive East Coast heat, so I'm hoping I last a little while longer!
