My due date was 10/2 and I'm still working. I own my own retail store/flower shop.
I'm in pain, but I'd rather be working than sitting around at home waiting for this baby to come out! :)

My first day of mat leave was April 1. I was due April 9. But then DD was super late and didn't come until April 24. Most boring three weeks ever!

I think you really have to go with how you are feeling and the demands of your job. I had a sitting job where I could work at home some, so I worked until I went into labor (I went in for a few hours the morning labor started). but with a more active job I'm sure it wouldn't have happened that way.

I work in the school system and was done for the summer on June 15th. I gave birth Aug 15, a day after my EDD. I lucked out with this pregnancy, having 8 weeks of summer holidays before LO arrived. However, I'd say if it was any other time in the year I would have wanted to be done by 37/38 weeks because I was feeling pretty uncomfortable by then.

Originally I was going to start working from home at 37 weeks, but work had a few issues and needed my replacement trained, so I worked through 38 weeks on site and at home. At the end of the week I told them I was done both mentally and physically, for good reason I guess- I went into labor the next day.

I planned to stop working 3 weeks before my due date. I have an office job but it was getting to be our busy time and I just couldn't handle it. But my OB pulled me out a week early due to my high blood pressure and swelling. It was a good thing too, DS ended up coming 2.5 weeks early. It was nice to have a little bit of time off to get things done before he got here. And to relax

I stopped at 37 weeks because of ridiculous back pain, and the general not-feeling-well and not-sleeping of late pregnancy. That being said, it was the middle of July (HOT), and because I'm in Canada, we have a year mat leave - so it didn't cut too much into my time.

I worked until a week before the boys were born. I stopped then because my replacement and I could only overlap for two weeks and they wanted him to start when I was 32 weeks to make sure he was there in case I went into labor early. Otherwise, I would have worked up until I delivered to maximize my time off after the boys were born. That said, that week of no work was AWESOME!

My plan is to work until I go into labor, but honestly I'm 18 weeks and already feeling like crap - I can't imagine how much worse i t's going to get. Luckily, my boss is very flexible so I'm counting on being able to work from home most of the time towards the very end.

I sent out an "I'm out" email to my team between contractions. DH thought I was insane.

I'd say I really started feeling worn out about 2-3 weeks before my due date. I was working from home the week before my due date, but by that time had delegated pretty much everything to others and was just advising on things and staying in the loop. LO was born 5 days early.

I'm likely to be induced around the end of week 39, so at this point I'm thinking I will take that week off, and work from home week 38. But at 32.5 weeks, I'm already extremely uncomfortable with SPD pain, so we'll see if I make it that far :-/.

I was planning to work up until my water broke, but at 38 weeks my doctor pulled me from working full time because of swelling and rising blood pressure, and because I was almost fully effaced and a couple cm dilated so they thought I would go early. I still worked from home some during that time. It was nice to have about a week off to get everything ready, after that it was just basically me sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for baby, which is probably part of the reason I went a little emotionally nutty when I got to my EDD and there was no baby yet!

At 7.5 months, I started working from home part-time. I would leave the office at lunchtime and work the rest of the day from my couch at home. Then at 8.5 months, I began working from home full-time. I worked remotely until the day that I went into labor.

If I didn't have a job where working remotely was an option, I would have had to stop working probably by 8 months. It was getting extremely difficult for me to get around, drive and even sit in an office chair because I was so big. Fortunately I have really understanding bosses who did above and beyond what I could have expected to help me work until the end.
