My LO is 20 months old, and I still prefer board books if given the option. I like knowing that they will last longer and be passed on to future kiddos. He also does well with paper pages and pretty gentle with his books overall.

We get free books sent to us once a month (pj library for all you Jewish bees!) from an organization and they sort by age group. This is the first month they didn't send a board book. Lo is 17 months and doesn't eat books anymore, but I still worry about tearing the pages.

When did you let your lo have paper books?
