She climbed out of her crib once around 20 months but hasn't again since, so we left her in it until we had to transition. I plan on using her crib for #2 due at the end of June and we wanted to transition her well before #2 arrives so she doesn't see it as her crib getting "stolen" from her. But we decided to keep her in her current room which is too small for a full. Also the switch was a desperate parenting resort. ;) it was much easier take a side off the crib then to wait for a deal on a full mattress. Once they start climbing out then it is time to move them.
