She didn't take a paci so the only thing that would calm her was for me to reach around and touch her cheek. The only solution they found (and they tried everything under the sun!) was to install a holder for their iPad and they let their LO watch a video while in the car. It's worked like a charm so perhaps worth a shot depending on the desperation level. I anticipate there will be a time where he really hates it but I plan to tough it out. There will come a time where he'll just accept it as a fact of life. He literally started full blown scream crying every time we for in the car. Maybe he was carsick, but I think he just hates being confined. We honestly just avoided going anywhere. We still won't go anywhere that takes more than 1.5 hours. I've gotten really good at turning the radio up and rolling the windows down. She will shriek and cry the whole time while we're in the car when it was rear facing. </p>
