I want to tell my parents after the first ob appt (7 or 8 weeks) but I REFUSE to tell his parents until 12 weeks when we are ready to tell everyone because his family gossips like crazy and none of them can keep a secret even when specifically asked. We will tell our sisters when we celebrate Christmas so it can be in person. Wont tell others until at least after hearing the heartbeat. Plan to tell facebook when we know the gender, or 24 weeks (viability). Only 17 weeks, so... 7 weeks till viability!
