Even though she was only 17 months old, I had a SCH and didn't want to explain why there might not be a baby in my tummy. She probably found out when I was 10 weeks. With my youngest we definitely waited until 13 weeks because she was over three at that point.<br /> One of my good friends recently had a miscarriage and I'm so glad I didn't tell my daughter. My daighter would have had so many questions and would have forgotten that my friend wasn't pregnant anymore.
