She just wouldn't sleep in there anymore. It was painful for is, because she also wouldn't sleep in her crib either, or anywhere but on us for that matter! We sleep trained at 5 months. Hopefully you will have a smoother transition! We used to swaddle him and then put him in the swing. But then he started to try to roll out so we ditched the swing. We put him down in the crib to start and then after each night wakeup would try the crib again. Our pediatrician said to do it before 6 months because it'll take 3-4 nights before 6 months and 3-4 weeks after.
