I bought a breathing sensor pad and baby monitor so I am not too worried about it. I heard it promotes better sleep for everyone...mom, dad and baby. DH snores horribly and I am wondering if she will sleep better in her room. DH bought the Angel Care Monitor and has yet to set it up. Now that our room is in the basement and the nursery upstairs I want to wait until Sienna sleeps 7+ hours before transitioning. She's sleeps 6 hours now so hopefully it's soon. LO started to outgrow her bassinet, or I would have waited longer. But it ended up being better for everyone. We found that he actually slept better in his room, probably because it's less noisy. Our dogs sleep in our room and if they get up at night they flap their ears. Didn't seem to be a big deal to LO. We were still using a swaddle at the time. I am worried if I wait too long, it will get increasingly difficult. Ideally I'd like to make the transition before I go back to work at 12 weeks, otherwise I worry about trying to adjust to both changes. I can already tell it will be a difficult transition for me. I'm sure LO will be fine. lol </p>
