I'm hoping we'll do this in about the 18 to 20 month period but we'll take it as it comes. DD will get her own crib at about that time and they'll probably be rooming in together by that point. There have only been two occurrences of DS getting out of bed by himself in the past 7 months. He's pretty close to the point of being able to climb out on his own. Our plan was to wait until baby #2 comes so they can have her crib and we'd get her a toddler bed..... but it really just depends on when she's ready. I would love to transition DD to a real bed by 18-20 months but I don't know if I should just wait for her to be ready.
