We still haven't yet at 7.5 months. I like keeping an eye on him, plus the last time we tried front facing him he got really upset. I think he thought he was alone. Right now he likes being able to see Mommy :).

We didn't switch DD until late - maybe 15 months? I really liked looking at her and I thought she liked hanging out with me, too... but then she started HATING the stroller and had the genius idea to turn her around... no more problems.

AT 9 months, because he started fussing a lot in the stroller and I thought facing out would help distract him. I prefer for him to NOT nap in the stroller anyway, so that wasn't really a concern.

We switched him back facing toward me for about a month at 15 months because he was transitioning to 1 nap and I needed to be able to see whether he was about to fall asleep so I could keep him awake! He was fine with the switch.

He definitely didn't face me after 9ish months because we stopped using the snap and go around then. But before that I switched up depending...

I'm glad to read that some of your babies can go back and forth without an issue. I thought once she turned forward she wouldn't want to look at boring mommy anymore.

She's 15 months and still faces us sometimes. I'll especially turn her towards me if she's tired and i need her to nap or if she's eating and I think she'll throw all her things and I don't want to lose them. She gets a kick out of facing out, though

About 6 months! He wasn't stoked about it at first, and would fuss until we got moving, but NOW, he loooooves it. Walks are his favourite thing to do.

DD is almost 18 months and I still have her face me most of the time. We switch it up though depending on what we're doing. She naps better facing me.

@Smurfette: @Foodnerd81: agree on the napping - O did pass out a couple times when we were in Disney World, but out of sheer exhaustion. that is the only time she's ever napped in the stroller! but I also if part has to do with her age..right around the time we switched her, she also started taking solid, predictable naps and *only* in her crib (sometimes, in her carseat..again if she was totally exhausted).

@Foodnerd81: I would love to have LO face me, but we have a city mini - so until she was in the big girl carseat (I put her in at 5.5 months) she rode facing me in the carseat. Once we put away the infant seat, she rode forward (5.5 months on). she loves it!!

@Smurfette: she doesn't nap very often in the stroller now but it does still happen. Although sometimes I'm doing everything I can to keep her awake, so she will sleep in the crib at home!

We had a Snap N Go, and stopped using the infant seat around 9 months. Ever since then she won't nap in the stroller. Too busy looking around. So if you want her to nap in the stroller and she is happy facing you, keep it that way!

We switched her at like 5 or 6 months, and then we bought a new stroller that didn't have the option, so she's faced out ever since. Our stroller (city mini) has two big windows on the canopy, so we can still peek in on her :)

If your stroller had the option to face you and face out, when did you turn the seat to face out?

We have the UBV and at 11 months, I still have C facing me. I'm starting to think she would enjoy facing out to the world, but I like looking at her! Plus I like being able to see if the sun is on her and make faces and talk to her... but mostly I like seeing her. :) I'm thinking it's just about time though, and it would be nice to be able to fold the stroller when I need to without taking the seat off.
